We are nearing the end of our most recent project. While the first image doesn't look that bad if you look closely you'll realize they're grout lines are not uniform, the niche sticks out from the tile about 3/8 of an inch and all the tile is set on sheetrock with no waterproofing membrane or substrate. All of this work had to be torn out and redone at both a major cost monetarily as well as a major cost in time to this customer. Sadly none of the material outside of the studs used to frame the walls could be of use for the shower to be completed. The moral of the story here is to make sure that you are using the proper materials as well as installation methods when doing any project on your home.
